
Assessment Appeals in West Kootenay & Boundary
We perform property assessment appeals for owners when their assessed values are either:
1) Not supported by Market Evidence;
2) Not equitable with similar properties in the area.
If either of the foregoing pertain to your assessment, you may want to consider an appeal. A successful appeal will reduce your property tax burden.
OUR FEE STRUCTURE: Our fee for appeals is 50% of the tax savings achieved. Example- if we successfully appeal your property and reduce your property tax payment by $1,000 -then our fee is $500. If we do not achieve a reduction, you do not pay anything.
